What Are the Three Working Modes of Hibrid Invertor?

For many years, Xindun Power's solar energy storage system has brought happiness to life and a steady stream of green energy to users around the world. Among them, Xindun Power's hibrid invertor have received continuous praise.

So, do you know what working modes Xindun Power's hibrid invertor have and what kind of convenience they bring to everyone's life? We will now briefly introduce to you:

Xindun Power's hibrid invertor have three main working modes: mains priority output mode, pv priority output mode and battery priority output mode.

The mains priority output mode is suitable for places where the local power infrastructure is relatively complete, but the power load is too large, such as Venezuela, Honduras and South Africa. When there is a mains power supply, the hibrid invertor will give priority to the mains power. Even if there is a pv power supply and the battery is fully charged, the invertor will only give priority to the mains power. So, what if the mains power suddenly disappears? Don't worry, Xindun’s invertor will automatically switch to PV power supply or battery power supply. This conversion process is fully automatic and is completed in about 4-10 milliseconds. Humans cannot feel it. The computer in use will not shut down due to power failure either. When the mains power is restored, the invertor will automatically switch to mains power supply again. The whole process is fully automatic and does not require manual operation by the user.

In addition, Xindun Power's hibrid invertor has both solar charging and mains charger. Therefore, when connected to the mains, in addition to supplying power to the load, the invertor will also use the mains power to charge the battery, so there is no need to worry about what to do next when the battery backup power is exhausted.

PV priority output, this is the work priority mode that many users want to know. It is very simple, that is, the hibrid invertor can directly use solar energy to power the load, and if there is a surplus, it will charge the battery. Similarly, even if there is mains power or battery power, the invertor will give priority to PV power supply.

But at the same time, Xindun needs to point out that because sunlight is fluctuating, for example, the sky cannot always be sunny, there may be clouds passing by, and there may be sudden use, so PV output may also be unstable. However, if the user does not want to use batteries, or wants to use the mains power as little as possible to save electricity, this function is an ideal alternative.

So, when the pv power is insufficient, will the load shut down automatically due to insufficient input power? Don't worry, Xindun’s hibrid invertor has an output compensation function. When the pv output is insufficient, our invertor will call on part of the mains or battery power to compensate the output to ensure that the load can always get enough income power.

Battery priority output function. Obviously, even if there is mains power and pv power, the hibrid invertor will give priority to the battery power. Xindun would like to point out that this output priority is very suitable for outdoor use scenarios where there is no mains power and unattended operation is required, such as telecommunications towers and small solar power stations:

When there is solar energy, the hibrid invertor allows the battery to be charged by solar energy while discharging the battery to power the load. Ensure that the battery can replenish the stored power at any time. In addition, if the battery backup power runs out in the middle of the night, the invertor will be in standby mode, waiting for the sun to appear tomorrow, silently waiting for the sunlight to fully charge the battery, and finally the invertor starts automatically. This working mode is indeed a good choice for remote areas or mountaintops where people are not convenient to enter and exit frequently.

Our invertor has many other "hidden" good features. If you want to know more, please contact Xindun and we will communicate more useful features.
