In recent years, with the continuous advancement of sun technology and the widespread adoption of sun power generation, more and more businesses and homes are choosing to build sun power system. Sun power inverter, as a core component in sun power system, convert the DC electricity generated by sun panels into AC power suitable for use by homes and businesses. The inverter's efficiency directly determines the utilization rate of sun energy. Inefficient inverter result in significant energy loss during conversion, significantly reducing the actual benefit even with high performance panels. The sun power inverter also affects the system's stability and flexibility, determining whether the sun power system can cope with power outages and provide stable power. This is why choosing the right sun power inverter is crucial for any sun system.
The hybrid sun power inverter can simultaneously manage solar power, battery, mains power, or generators, achieving unified control of power generation, storage, and supply, ensuring continuous system operation regardless of grid availability.

How does the hybrid sun power inverter work? During daytime hours with ample sunlight, the inverter prioritizes sun power generation to power the loads of a home or business, meeting immediate electricity demand. When power generation exceeds load consumption, the excess energy is automatically diverted to the battery for storage, preventing energy waste. At night or on cloudy days, the inverter automatically switches power supply mode, prioritizing battery power. When the battery charge is low, it smoothly switches to the grid to ensure power continuity. More importantly, in the event of an emergency such as a grid outage, the sun hybrid inverter can quickly switch to off grid mode, relying solely on the battery and solar panels to ensure the normal operation of critical loads such as refrigerators, lighting, and communications equipment.
Xindun's HU (10KW-12KW), HFP (1KW-12.3KW), HFP-S (3.3KW-4.3KW), HFP-C (4.3KW-12.3KW), HFP-E (3.3KW-12.3KW), and HP PLUS+ (5KW-12KW) series hybrid sun power inverter utilize a high frequency design and pure sine wave output, offering high power density, compact size, and high overall efficiency. With an inverter conversion efficiency of up to 94% and an output frequency of 50Hz/60Hz, they can meet the needs of different regional power grids and ensure stable and reliable load operation. They feature a bidirectional energy storage design, enabling bidirectional power flow. During standby periods, both sun and mains power can be used to charge the battery. They also offer three flexible operating modes: off grid, on grid, and hybrid. They can also operate normally without battery, reducing system costs and making them suitable for users with a low initial budget. They feature a built in MPPT sun controller with an ultra wide voltage input and output range of 30V-500Vdc, effectively improving sun power generation efficiency. They also feature output and charging priority settings, allowing users to customize them based on actual needs, optimizing energy distribution and further increasing system profitability. They also feature lithium battery BMS communication for real time monitoring of battery status and data, effectively extending battery life and reducing maintenance risks. So what are the differences between these two models?
The HFP-S series hybrid sun power inverter is an upgraded and optimized version of the HFP. It features a dual AC output design: a main output and a secondary output. These two outputs have the same voltage, frequency, and phase, enabling intelligent load management.
Users can flexibly enable or disable the intelligent dual output function based on their needs.
When the intelligent dual output function is disabled (default), both the main and secondary outputs can carry loads normally. As long as the total power of the two outputs does not exceed the inverter's rated power, the system operates safely and stably.
When the intelligent dual output function is enabled:
1. When the battery voltage remains within the normal range, both the main and secondary outputs can carry loads normally. The total power of the two outputs must not exceed the inverter's rated power.
2. Once the battery voltage drops to the main cut off voltage setting, the main output immediately shuts down, limiting the maximum load power of the secondary output to within 30% of the inverter's rated power.
3.When the battery voltage returns to the main recovery voltage setting, the main output automatically resumes power supply.
4. If the main output is cut off and the mains is connected (i.e. in mains working state), the main output will automatically resume to ensure continuous power supply.

The HFP-C series is a hybrid sun power inverter that further enhances the HFP and HFP-S series. It also supports dual AC outputs and can simultaneously power and charge two loads, providing users with more flexible energy management solutions. It also features a stylish RGB ring shaped LED light strip design that offers a rich visual experience. Users can freely adjust the light strip's color, brightness, speed, and display effects, with eight colors available: blue, green, light blue, pink, yellow, purple, orange, and white blue. Whether used in homes, businesses, or public spaces, the inverter not only ensures stable power output but also enhances the overall experience and ambiance through its aesthetically pleasing lighting design.

The HFP-E series hybrid sun power inverter also supports dual AC outputs, providing users with flexible load management and dual power supply capabilities. The HFP-E offers an innovative user experience with a detachable remote control panel. While the display panel is factory mounted on the inverter, it can be removed and reinstalled to a more convenient location for remote monitoring and operation based on installation requirements.
The panel connects to the inverter via a standard Ethernet cable, supporting distances up to 20 meters (user provided Ethernet cable required), enabling flexible wiring and convenient remote control. Notably, the BMS communication interface is located on the inverter, while external communication and the WiFi data logger are located on the display panel. This not only enhances system flexibility but also provides real time monitoring of the inverter's operating status, meeting the needs of diverse scenarios.

The HP PLUS+ series hybrid sun power inverter has the function of parallel operation, which can be single phase or three phase. The 5kw inverter can support up to 9 parallel operations, and the 10kw and 12kw inverters can support up to 6 parallel operations. In addition, this power range also supports time based charging and discharging settings, which can effectively utilize electricity price differences and charge and discharge during peak and off peak periods, thereby helping users save electricity costs; it can meet the expansion needs of the system at different stages of sun projects.

The HU series hybrid sun power inverter support split phase voltage input and output, US standard single phase voltage input or output , and can be flexibly configured to meet regional grid standards and load requirements. They also feature parallel operation, supporting up to six units (single phase or three phase), easily expanding system capacity. They also support time of day charging and discharging settings, allowing users to flexibly adjust battery charging and discharging strategies based on peak and off peak electricity prices, effectively reducing electricity costs. This not only improves system economics but also brings substantial long term benefits to commercial and industrial users while optimizing energy efficiency.
